Nintendo Announces "Mini Wii" For Canadian Shoppers

Nintendo has announced that a new console dubbed the "Mini Wii" will be available to shopers out in Canada. The new system is basically like the original Nintendo Wii, but obviously smaller.

There are two major differences between this Wii and the original though. The new Wii will not have any wi-fi support, so you will not be able to play a game online. Also, the Mini Wii does not have Gamecube support, meaning you cannot play any of your old, awesome Gamecube games that you have.

This new Wii comes at a small cost of just $99. It is the cheapest Wii to date (not like there have been many Wii's compared to DS's), making it the most affordable one, but the lack of internet capabilities and playing Gamecube games.

Now the console will only be released in Canada, and not ANYWHERE else. Although, people from different places will most definitely be buying the console just to have one.

No news on whether or not the new console will be available to other countries later on, but for now only the Canadians get to enjoy this one.
