Today, Nintendo had a press conference regarding their new gaming system called the Wii U.
They showcased the system and some of its features earlier in the year during their E3 press conference. today they released some more info such as the release date. Games that will be releasing with the Wii U and the price of the games.
The release date is schedule to be November 18, 2012 with a price tag of $299 for the 8GB white Wii U, or you can pay $50 extra and get a 32GB black colored system. from the looks of it, the black one will be worth more the money because you are paying about $50 in order to get four times the memory.
Some games that have been announced include the very popular Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Rayman Legends, FIFA 13, Epic Mickey 2, NBA 2K13, NFL 13, Pikmin 3, and much more.
Another difference in Nintendo's new system is the pricing for the games. Nintendo Wii games were generally released at $50, but the Wii U will sell games at $10 more which is the price that PS3 and Xbox360 games are sold at.
This is a make or break moment for Nintendo, if the Wii U fails and doesn't meet expectations, it would be a huge disappointment, but if everything goes well, Nintendo will be back to their N64 days.
The company that revolutionized gaming and made it what it is today has gone downhill recently, and they hope the Wii U will change their luck back around towards a hill of success.
